Vocal Soloist

Dan’s vocal solo career has included performances with the Rome Symphony Orchestra and Festival Singers, The Chamber Players of the South, Shorter College Chorale at the A Coeur Joie International Choral Festival in Vaison-la-Romaine, France and Fest in Hellbrunn, Salzburg, Austria. As a chorister, he was a member of the highly esteemed Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Chorus under the direction of Robert Shaw, and a member of the Choral Arts Society and Chamber Choir of Washington, DC under the director of Scott Tucker.

Educator

As an educator, Dan most recently was the Director of Arts at NSU University School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Previous positions include staff accompanist for the National Cathedral School for Girls in Washington, DC and Director of Fine Arts and Choral Activities at the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. Before moving to Houston, Dan was the Director of Choral Activities, Vocal Studies, Musical Theatre and Department Chair at the Darlington School in Rome, Georgia.

As an extension of his educational interests and activities, Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the Girl Choir of South Florida.

Church Musician

As a church musician, Dan served as minister of music and organist/choirmaster at the First Baptist Church in Rockmart, GA. While teaching at the Darlington School, he was a staff singer, assistant director/organist and graded choir coordinator at First United Methodist Church. Dan also served as staff singer and assistant director/organist at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church. In Washington, DC he was a member of the Chancel Choir at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church where he served as a staff singer and soloist. Dan is presently a staff singer, soloist, and assistant organist at All Saints Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a member of the Anglican Chorale, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Miami, Florida.
